Tea Tree Oil: It is extracted from the leaves of a tree with the botanical name Melaleuca alternifolia. A small amount of the essential substance is also contained in the bark. The characteristic fragrance is due to the presence of about 100 different separate ingredients from which this aromatic cocktail is blended. The content of the individual components depends on the time of harvest, the quality of the soil and the distillation experience. The oil is suitable for treating the skin after insect bites, for colds, acne, cold sores, skin rashes or fungal diseases.
